A little about me, Bethany Rayls…
I am excited to begin my 9th year teaching fifth grade here at Bethke Elementary! I have been a part of educating elementary students for the past 22 years and am thrilled to continue working with students at Bethke this year. Prior to coming to Bethke, I taught technology at Kruse Elementary and 5th grade in Riverside, California. I graduated from California Baptist University back in 2000 and completed my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education in 2015.
My husband, Ben, and I both grew up in Southern California but fell in love with the Fort Collins area and decided to move to Colorado in 2007. We love being able to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and the community here in Northern Colorado. We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary last May! We do not have any children of our own, unless you count our many 'furry' and 'feathery' ones: We have 2 fluffy dogs, many laying hens, and four cats! I enjoy spending time with my animals, family, and friends. I also really enjoy camping, hiking, gardening, cooking, reading and basically doing anything artsy, crafty, or creative.
Teaching is a passion of mine, and I feel beyond thankful to be able to do what I love! I am anticipating a fantastic 2022-23 school year, and look forward to learning alongside my students!
Please let me know if you ever have any questions, comments or concerns. I can always be reached through school email at [email protected]. I would love to hear from you anytime!
